Summer is coming to an end, so is our adventure with our dinosaur friends as they are going back to being extinct. And for our infants and toddlers, it’s almost time for our bug mates to hibernate, but our firends have enjoyed being Entomologists for the last couple of months!

Welcome Back to School!
It’s time to get out our magnifying glasses – it’s time to investigate. Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. This school year will be BRIGHT, COLORFUL and FUN! Our new friends will embrace a superb new experience where he/she will explore, learn, and discover new possibilities. Your child will be introduced to important concepts in language, literacy, math, social and emotional growth, and STEM.

Stompin’ like Dinosaurs!
The dinosaurs finally settled in at KidzStuff Alameda, and we’re so excited to be a part of their world. This month, our Paleontologist will continue studying the life cycle of dinosaurs, their body types, what they like to eat and their habitats. We will experiment with fossils, while exploring fine arts in nature.

The dinosaurs finally settled in at KidzStuff, and we’re so excited to be a part of their world. This month, our Paleontologist will continue studying the life cycle of dinosaurs, their body types, what they like to eat and their habitats. We will experiment with fossils, while exploring fine arts in nature. This month we will learn about Herbivore Dinosaurs, these are our plant-based diet dinosaurs. Let’s see how many vegetables we can get our friends to try as they learn about Herbivores!

Bugging Into Summer
Lots of bugs have settled in our Infant/Toddler World. We are so excited they will be with us for the rest of the summer. Our friends have enjoyed being Entomologist so far. We will continue studying different insect lives, their body types, what they eat and their habitats. Please join us in reading lots of bug books to our friends over the next 8 weeks.

It’s been a pleasure to watch our friends become pounds heavier, inches taller, months wiser, and more mature than they were when we started. Watching their personality grow day by day has been the highlight of our year. Thank you for your participation and classroom donations, our first school year was a huge success because of your parent participation!

This month, our friends will acquire important skills that will enhance their cognitive, math, fine motor, sensory and language development skills. We will do experiments that are only possible on Earth!
For this investigation, we are asking for the following donations:

• Star cookie cutters
Spring is Just Around the Corner! Don’t be surprised if your child’s thumb starts turning green! As a member of the InvestiGators Club, your child will learn all about what plants do for us and what we can do to grow healthy plants.
March is National Reading Month, please read at least one book to our friends every night at bedtime. Try using the vocabulary in the book with our friends throughout the week. Point out the letters from some of the book’s vocabulary words while in the community and at home.
