With 33 years of experience working with children, Robin Wright brings a unique combination of early childhood education, teaching and coaching experience to her role as Director of KidzStuff Towson. Throughout her career, she has worked as a coach, Pre-K teacher and infant teacher, giving her the opportunity to support children through many different stages of their development.
Robin’s love of sports helped shape her approach to early childhood education. After learning more about the importance of physical activity for young children, she introduced sports and exercise opportunities – including soccer, basketball and lacrosse – to children at the Towson center. While working with children, Robin continued her own education and professional development, ultimately becoming a fully qualified child care center director, with additional college coursework in early childhood education.
Her Philosophy
“Children should have the opportunity to be children while being encouraged to grow into their fullest potential.”
Robin believes childhood should include plenty of opportunities to play, explore, move and learn, while also helping children develop kindness, responsibility and an understanding of what it means to care for and serve others.
What Robin enjoys most about leading the Towson center is building meaningful relationships with children, families and staff while creating a safe, loving environment for every child to feel welcomed, supported, and free to grow.
