Proud to Be Part of East Baltimore

KidzStuff Child Care Center is proud to serve the East Baltimore community families. It has been an honor to immerse ourselves in the rich history of the community and witness the robust revitalization over the past 15 years. We enjoy watching the children come through our doors as babies and walk out as mature preschoolers year after year. It’s such a bittersweet experience in which we cry because we are sad to see them leave and then we clap because we celebrate their growth and progress.

Partnering with the Baltimore City Public School System to transition our students into “big kids” school has also been an amazing experience. The principals, teachers, and resource staff are very supportive of their new students and their transition into their schools. These are vital partnerships for the success of every child.

Having other community partners like Johns Hopkins and the Police Department have been so meaningful for the children at KidzStuff. These organizations fill our families’ hearts with cheer every year at Christmas time with their toy and clothing donations.

The East Baltimore community is such a wonderful place to work and serve.

Heart Heart What Broadway Families Say About KidzStuff

“My daughter went from her grandmother’s care (as an infant), to a live -in nanny (1 years old), to Kidz Stuff a few months later and I am genuinely pleased with my decision. We are new to the area and I wanted to make a good decision for our family. The center is really diverse which was a must for me so that my daughter can be well-rounded. I love her teachers; they show my daughter the best care and attention. They are a breath of fresh air. The transition has been smooth and so relieving. My daughter is also a pescatarian and the center accommodates her dietary restrictions with ease! They inform me of everything going on whether big or small. I love it here.”

“My son started school here in January and I truly appreciate all the teachers and the love they show to my son! All the teachers are women and very caring! The owner, Mrs Johnston, is very professional and knows all the kids names. I get a call any time my son gets sick or isn’t feeling well (which means a lot to me, because my son has sickle cell). The children are very sweet and well mannered! They provide a monthly newsletter to help the parents work with the kids after school to re-enforce learning. Just a great school overall!”

“We love Ms. Tiara! She’s so kind, patient, and fun, and my God-son has learned so much with her. You can really tell she cares about the kids. The whole staff is amazing too – especially Miss Yvette, who’s always so warm and helpful. We appreciate y’all so much! One big family!”

“My children have attended this center for 1 year and then staff genuinely care about the kids. My daughter teacher pays extra attention to her learning style and my son never cries when I drop him off. Definitely sticking to this center!”
